When you open your brokerage account, you are going to have to request the ability to trade options. As a protection to you and to me, brokerages now require that you apply to be able to trade options so that you prove yourself capable. The next level, of course, is to get a data feed from the markets and have a charting software that resides on your computer. TradeStation integrates in access to your brokerage account so that you can make trades right from within your charting software, all at the click of the mouse.
